I work with teams at offsites and in meetings, using the following approaches:

Assessments on team health, emotional intelligence, and conflict styles

Facilitated dialogue on key issues

Interactive exercises that build trust, develop relationships, and understand group behavior and dynamics

Examples of recent team engagements:

  • Overcoming Infighting

    I helped a senior team at a consulting firm to overcome infighting and gaps in their communication. Over the course of a year they were able to build and restore trust, and create practices and processes to communicate more reliably. They instituted norms to govern their interactions and the way they managed their division’s employees and clients.

  • Leadership Offsite

    I led an off-site with executive team of a publicly-traded tech company. We examined how their tendency to compete with one another was hindering their success and explored how they could collaborate more effectively and efficiently, and harness the power of constructive conflict.

  • Excessive Competition

    I worked with consulting team experiencing a lack of trust, too much gossip, and excessive competition. We started with an assessment and explored the results at an offsite, paying close attention to building accountability within the team. From there, they embarked on a 3-month action learning program, which included small group conversations to address specific challenges, and individual coaching sessions focused on communication and relationship building.
